Work is continuing on the Eiffel Tower Trout Pond Boardwalk Project at Eiffel Tower Park, with crews making steady progress toward transforming the area into a more accessible and immersive outdoor destination.
Since work began in June, crews have completed clearing and tree removal, installed erosion control measures, and completed dirt and gravel work. Wetland excavation is now underway, while concrete paving is being added between the bridges. Riprap is also being placed to help address water flow and erosion concerns.
Upcoming work will include continued wetland improvements, paving, and construction of the new pier and boardwalk structures. The project remains on schedule, with completion currently expected by December 14, 2026.
Once complete, the project will provide an ADA-accessible trail, elevated boardwalks through wetland areas, improved parking and access, a fishing and observation pier, expanded wetland habitat, and native landscaping designed to enhance the natural environment.
