  • City of Paris Projects Update: Fall 2026

    The City of Paris is progressing on several projects aimed at enhancing public safety, transportation, and infrastructure. Key initiatives include improvements at the Eiffel Tower Trout Pond, upgrades to intersections and traffic signals, replacing the Rison Street Bridge, and constructing a new fire station. Completion of these projects is anticipated between late 2026 and mid-2027.

    Eiffel Tower Park will host Spooktacular 2026 on Saturday, October 24, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., featuring games, candy, contests, and family activities.   • Eiffel Tower Trout Pond Boardwalk Project Continues to Progress

    The Eiffel Tower Trout Pond Boardwalk Project at Eiffel Tower Park is progressing well, with crews completing initial clearing and erosion control. Wetland excavation and concrete paving are ongoing. The project aims to create an accessible outdoor destination with boardwalks, a fishing pier, and enhanced habitats, scheduled for completion by December 14, 2026.

  • Paris-Henry County Basketball League

    The 2026-2027 Paris-Henry County youth basketball season registration opens on August 17 and runs until October 16 for players aged 5-14. Fees are $30 for the first child, with evaluations on October 19-20. Coaches and team sponsors are also needed. Contact the Paris Civic Center for more details.
