Paris Fire Department Promotes Dylan Johnson to New Deputy Fire Marshal Position

The Paris Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Dylan Johnson to the department’s newly created Deputy Fire Marshal position.

Established to strengthen fire prevention efforts and enhance public safety, the Deputy Fire Marshal will work alongside Fire Marshal Greg Andrews to conduct fire inspections, review building and development plans, assist with fire investigations, coordinate public fire safety education, and help ensure businesses and new construction comply with state and local fire codes.

Johnson has been a member of the Paris Fire Department since 2019 and has served as a lieutenant for the past three years. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to serving the citizens of Paris.

“Dylan has been a valuable member of our department and has consistently shown a strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges,” said Fire Marshal Greg Andrews. “I know he’ll do a great job in this role. As our city continues to grow, having an additional person dedicated to fire prevention, inspections, and public education will help us better serve our community.”

The addition of the Deputy Fire Marshal position reflects the Paris Fire Department’s commitment to proactive fire prevention and public safety.
