The City of Paris has been awarded a grant to construct a new sidewalk along Fairgrounds Road and Royal Oak Drive. This project will improve pedestrian safety, encourage walkability, and connect key areas of our community with a safe, continuous pedestrian route.
Project Overview
The proposed sidewalk will:
- Begin at the intersection of East Wood Street and Fairgrounds Road
- Extend eastward along the south side of Fairgrounds Road to Royal Oak Drive
- Continue south along the east side of Royal Oak Drive to Lone Oak Road
- Connect with Mineral Wells Avenue, creating a continuous pedestrian route from East Wood Street to Mineral Wells Avenue
