As we prepare to celebrate Independence Day, the City of Paris would like to inform residents of upcoming holiday closures and schedule changes.
City Offices & Sanitation
Paris City Hall and Paris Public Works will be closed on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in observance of Independence Day. Offices will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 7.
Sanitation routes typically run on Thursday will be collected early on Wednesday, July 2, along with the regularly scheduled Wednesday routes. We appreciate your cooperation and encourage residents to have carts placed at the curb the night before.
Landfill, Animal Shelter & Civic Center
The following facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5:
- Paris-Henry County Landfill
- Paris Animal Shelter
These services will resume on their next regular business day.
The Paris Civic Center will be closed on Friday, July 4 only and will reopen on Saturday, July 5.
Eiffel Tower Pool & Splash Park
Looking for a fun way to cool off during the holiday? The Eiffel Tower Pool and Splash Park will be open on Friday, July 4, but will close early at 4:00 p.m. Be sure to stop by and enjoy some summer fun before your evening celebrations!
Emergency Services
All City emergency services will continue to operate as normal throughout the holiday weekend.
