Final paving for the Brooks Street Drainage Improvement Project begins today, Monday, July 20, marking the final in the project!
The new pavement will extend at least 20 feet beyond the work zone, including along side streets, to provide a smooth transition between the new and existing roadway. Driveways that were cut during the relocation of the water line will be paved to the back side of the cut. All remaining driveways within the project limits will receive a paved turn-in.
Residents should expect some traffic impacts while paving is underway. Residents should use the appropriate entrance or exit for their location within the project area and should expect some delays after 8:00 a.m. as paving operations begin.
We appreciate the continued patience of Brooks Street residents as the project reaches completion.
