Activity is officially underway on the Brooks Street Drainage Improvement Project! Crews have started work at the Mineral Wells Avenue entrance, beginning with the relocation of utilities—the first step in preparing for major drainage improvements in the area.
While the main road is open, the area may become congested as crews and equipment move in. To help ease traffic and improve safety, residents are encouraged to use the temporary access road connecting Lark Street to Mockingbird Lane.
The full construction phase will follow soon. We anticipate minimal, if any, disruptions to utility services during this time.
