Current Conditions & Travel Advisory
As of Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM
Main roadways throughout the city are in good condition. However, many side streets within the city limits remain in poor condition. Public Works crews were able to clear some secondary streets, but not all areas could be addressed, and many side streets have refrozen and remain extremely slippery.
Additionally, many sidewalks and parking lots across the city remain frozen, creating hazardous conditions for both drivers and pedestrians. Residents are urged to use extreme caution when driving or walking.

🚧 Public Works & Road Operations
Last Updated: Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM
Streets were pretreated ahead of the storm, and crews have been preparing and staging equipment since last week in anticipation of winter weather conditions.
Ongoing Efforts
Main roadways throughout the city are in good condition. However, many side streets within the city limits remain in poor condition. Public Works crews were able to clear some secondary streets, but not all areas could be addressed, and many side streets have refrozen and remain very slippery.
Tomorrow, crews will be back on the roads, continuing to address secondary streets that have yet to be serviced, along with problem areas, hills, and known trouble spots, as conditions allow.
Ongoing priorities continue to include access to the hospital, emergency services, and major roadways across Paris.
Public Works Director Chris Moseley noted that in 37 years of service with the City of Paris Public Works, he has never experienced a winter weather event quite like this one. Crews have been working long, extended hours in extreme cold throughout this storm and continue to respond to public concerns as conditions allow.
