The current Fire Station #1, built in 1960 for a 12-member department, no longer meets the needs of today’s 24-member Paris Fire Department. The new station will feature six bays, a training tower, and updated living, workout, and common spaces. With preconstruction beginning October 21 and groundbreaking to follow, the project will greatly improve emergency response capabilities and firefighter training for a growing community.
