Public Notices
The City of Paris, Tennessee is pleased to announce that we are applying for a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant to fund the installation of a tornado warning system. This project aims to enhance public safety by providing timely alerts and warnings to residents in the event of a tornado.
The City of Paris announces a proposed project under the Community Development Block Grant B-24-DC-47-0001 located in the FFRMS floodplain and wetland at Eiffel Tower Park Extended. The project includes paving a parking lot, installing a fishing pier, and creating an ADA-compliant walking trail. Less than one acre of floodplain/wetland may be impacted.
Public comments are invited to address alternatives, impacts, and mitigation. Comments must be received by February 19, 2025, at City of Paris, 100 N Caldwell St., Paris, TN 38242, or via email to kray@cityofparistn.gov.
