Brooks St Weekly Road Closures: November 3–9

⚠️ Attention: Additional Brooks Street Closure – November 6–7

In order to stay on schedule and get ahead of expected rainfall, contractors working on the Brooks Street Drainage Improvement Project have added an extra road closure this week.

Location: 161 Brooks Street
Time Frame: Beginning this morning, Thursday, November 6, and continuing overnight into Friday, November 7

Residents of 161 and 170 Brooks Street will need to use the temporary access road connecting Larks Street to Mockingbird Lane.
All other residents can continue using the Mineral Wells Avenue entrance.

Thank you for your patience as crews work to keep this project on track.

As part of the City’s ongoing Brooks Street Drainage Improvement Project, temporary road closures will continue this week to allow for utility service installations.

Closures will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day and will likely remain in place overnight until work is completed at each site. Crews do not plan to have more than one section of Brooks Street closed at a time. Work areas will be limited to small sections of the street, and access will be maintained for all residents via designated alternate routes.

A Google Map showing the closure points is available for residents here:

This map will be updated as the project progresses and can be used for navigation on mobile devices.
