On Saturday, December 3rd, 2016, the F.O.P. Tennessee-Kentucky Lake Lodge 17 invited two hundred twenty-five, 225, underprivileged children Christmas Shopping.
Officers from the Paris Police Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Department along with the Henry County High School DECA Class,HCHS Criminal Justice Class, Knights of Columbus and
Henry County Schools Guidance Counselors.
The shopping trip began at Henry County High School where the
children were teamed with a shopping guide. They were bused to
Wal-Mart Supercenter for their Christmas shopping spree.
Each child was allowed to spend seventy five dollars, $75, on
Christmas presents. When the children returned to HCHS, they
received a stuffed animal for girls and a match box car for boys
along with other goodies. F.O.P. President and Paris Police Chief
Chuck Elizondo stated, “Thank you Paris and
Henry County for all
your support. Your generosity made it possible for over 200
children to have a better Christmas.”
