Craig Barrow of the Paris Fire Department graduated from the Recruit Firefighter 1 course at Tennessee Fire Service and Code Enforcement Academy on April 17, 2015.
The class of 19 career and volunteer fire fighter recruits from eight fire departments across Tennessee were the 33rd class to complete the 10 week course of basic firefighting training.
Firefighter Barrow was selected by classmates and instructors to receive the Garland King Award for Outstanding Performance.
He is the second Paris firefighter to receive this award at Tennessee Fire Service and Code Enforcement Academy. John Roaten was recognized in April 2014.
