The Paris Fire Department conducted it’s annual 40 hour in-service training in March.

  • During the first week, an instructor from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy (TFACA) from Bell Buckle, Tennessee provided training.
  • The following afternoon, Jamie James of the Paris Police Department was the instructor.
  • On Wednesday, March 4, the instructor was Jay Nance of Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA).  This training was held in the 911/EMA office training facility.
  • On March 10, the department received training on water supply and conducted “hands on” training at Henry County Fairgrounds; and
  • On  March 11, was a defensive driver training course with each firefighter operating a pumper through a driving course
