Where do I turn in my unwanted medication or other drugs, for safe disposal?

A special designated container has been placed in the lobby of the E911 Dispatch Center at City Hall.  The lobby is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is open to all Henry County residents.

 

Do you offer child car seat installations?

Our child passenger safety technicians inspect and install car seats and provide car seat educational materials. Come by the Police Department at 100 N. Caldwell Street between 7:30 am and 4:15pm, Monday through Friday.

 

Where do I dispute or pay for a parking ticket?

How do I report a crime?

Call 911 for emergencies or call 642-2424 for other incidents. The Paris Police Department also provides a confidential TIP LINE as an alternative means by which individuals can relay valuable information in an anonymous manner. Text or call (731-642-1411). You can also come by the E911 Dispatch Center at City Hall to report a crime in person.

 

How do I get my property back that is being held by the Paris Police Department?

Where can I find out if there are any convicted sex offenders in my neighborhood?

A family member needs mental health treatment.  What are my options?

The police can forcibly take an individual to Henry County Medical Center ER if it is an emergency situation where the person is a danger to himself/herself or others.  The ER handles the situation at that point.

 

Who do I contact to apply for a parade permit or permit to temporarily close a city street?

Please contact the Records Department at 731-641-1413 or come by the Police Department at 100 N. Caldwell Street between 7:30 am and 4:15pm, Monday through Friday to obtain paperwork.

 

If my license is suspended, where/how do I get it restored? 

Come by the Police Department (Records) at 100 N. Caldwell Street between 7:30 am and 4:15pm, Monday through Friday to pay the citation fee required by our police department. Our Records clerk will then notify the Department of Safety to reinstate your license privileges.

 

Where do I pay a ticket issued to me?

Come by the Paris Police Department (Records) at 100 N. Caldwell Street between 7:30 am and 4:15pm, Monday through Friday. Parking tickets are paid at the Paris Police Department. The pink copy of all other citations must designate Municipal Court to be paid at the Paris Police Department.

 

How do I get a copy of an accident report?

Please contact the Records Department at 731-641-1413 or come by the Police Department at 100 N. Caldwell Street between 7:30 am and 4:15 pm, Monday through Friday.  To obtain your report you will need the following information: Name of person involved, the date and approximate time of accident as well as the location.

 

If my keys are locked in my vehicle, can the Paris Police open my vehicle? 

For liability reasons, we do not offer this service. We suggest you call a locksmith to assist you.

 

What is the fee for a speeding ticket?

$115 – court cost included.

Do you offer Traffic School?

Traffic School is  currently not offered by the City of Paris.
