The Paris E911 Dispatch Communications Unit is the first point of contact for emergency services (police, fire and ambulance) in the city of Paris. In incidents where fire or ambulance response is required, the calls are also dispatched directly.

The E911 Dispatch Communications Unit is also responsible for animal control calls that require an Animal Control Officer to be dispatched to a residence or place of business, after business hours or weekends. For other animal control assistance the public should contact the Animal Control Shelter at 731-642-5024.
